20 07 2012

Japa is the practise of repetition of a mantra. This kind of practise is a very quick way to withdraw the disturbance, the preoccupations of mind and and bring us back a state of tranquility.

The mind, in rajasc state (agitation, excitation), is a stirred mind, and in this way it keeps trapped in the turbulence itself. In cases of preoccupation or dubts about a subject, the mind keeps spinning compulsively in the same subject, making the preoccupations seems to be huge. It may causes mental stress, insomnia and no other negative qualities to our health. Japa is very effective to take the mind of this rajasic state.

The practise of japa is also very effective is others case: reduces the agitation of mind, removes anxiety, removes distress, dispel doubts and brings the state of serenity. It happens because the mind, when starting to repeat a mantra, gets out from its habitual focus that are the disorded thoughts, the mind when practises japa mantra absorbs all the energies of the mantra repeated.

Usually, the mind thinks wildly, a thought is associated with other and when we least expect we’re quite distant from what we were thinking initially. It happens because this is the nature of mind. With the practise of Japa, wu give a sense and order to each thought, we know what is the next thought and also the nature of this next thought.

When we think, act, read, speak com other people etc we’re puting to inside us all the energies of this actions. The physical, mental, emotional, energetic and spiritual body receive the prana of this actions, so all the bodies vibrate on the frequencies of the acts. For example, if you speak with people that do not vibrate in the same frequency of you, you may be receiving a different energetic field oposite of yours and with that you can starting to have thoughts, attitudes and actions that don’t match you, and so on.

When it happens and you realize that your thoughts, attitudes and actions are not from the essence of your being reflect on what’s happening around you. The repetition of a mantra (Japa) help us in this processo of reflection because it calms down the mind and so we come back to realize again the essence of our Self. For the reason, is very indicated use Devas’ Mantra (mantra of Gods), they have great strength to clean our mind.

Repeat a mantra once a week ou once a month e simply wait that everything will be resolved instantly is an illusion. Repeat with faith how long you you need. This kind of practise promotes very rapid effects but should be kept the faith and regularly, preferably every Day.

Japa can be used for meditation or to reduce the agitation of the mind, it re-opens the ways of mind and set you to a state of peace.
